Xeigle and little Keiai, drawn for *-achiru- 's Parenthood Contest, which you can read about here: [link]This is my "Father's Day" entry. Augh, my style is so different from hers, but I hope the characters are at least somewhat recognizable! ^__^; I went for a sketchy monochrome look with the coloring, and I think it captured the mood I was going for. Done in mechanical pencil and Photoshop 5.5.

This is such a beautiful moment. I remember saying that to my daughter when I saw her for the first time. We both slept for 2 or 3 hours after she was born... She slept on my chest the whole time.
