Description
I will add a more elaborate explanation of the steps here when I finish another drawingTHIS IS ON OPENCANVAS4.5.18
You got any questions.. just ask me.
opencanvas is the only program I've ever used since I started CGing about 4 years ago. I've tried SAI but it's hard for me to get used to.
If you want to see another picture's work process, just tell me which pic. I'll upload the wips tomorrow.
but alas I shall sleep now for I am tired and it is late.

I love seeing these type of things, because I believe it really helps me improve I see that I usually stop ("finish") a work 2-3 steps before you say you're done. This helps me go above and beyond
thank you.

excellent tutorial, I has been a great help.
I have only one question: where I can find the textures that you use to achieve that beautiful end result?

so your process is much like mine, sans the use of overlay textures... I had always wondered how you created that elegantly grunge style to your pieces... nice!

Beautiful job! I also like how you kept the tutorial easy and simple instead of elaborating too much and making the file large.
Also, the picture came out very pretty as well, I like it.

I love the gradient of base colours you used in this piece.
Could you possibly upload the work process of "Consume" >w

when you say you smoothed the shading, do you use the smudge tool of sorts??? very beautiful coloring. I love progression posts like these, because the beginning steps help me notice things in the finished piece I would not have caught. For some reason, I'm in love with simple blocked out sketches like the first step.^_^

I use to love openCanvas like mad. And I heard SAI was a neater program, and I too, thought that SAi was a bit complicated.... until I got a tablet, openCanvas lags me (I paint with mouse) and I had to get use to SAI and I'm loving SAI >__<
Thank you for sharing your work in progress. :)

Mm yeah though I often use SAI for lineart and whatnot, I only use SAI for coloring chibis. My style is more painterly than anime, so OpenCanvas is easier to use on my account > w < SAI is very easy to use but I like the painterly feel of oC better keke <33
No prob dear!

I wish I had your painterly style. LOL. Anime style isn't that good as painterly IMO. >:

Ah, your process is very interesting, I've always wondered how people who use open canvas manage~! *doesn't get it*
I'm curious as to what happens to your lineart between three and four though.
One minute its obviously a pencil sketch and the next it looks 100% digital. xD
