Can we have a fanfare? He~ey!
I have FINALLY scraped up enough courage to attempt drawing the only ninja's I like! Did I succeed? Well I dunno about that but I'm heading in the right direction at least!

Seeing as my glasses were not properly set when sketch-nght happened this week I didn't really have anything to show for it because trying to draw was frustrating and near impossible! So to make up for it I'm making this unofficial Sketch night #3 (even if it's just turtles) I hope that's ok Arkjam! 8D;;;

OK! So what do we have here? Well:

1: First we have Coffee!Donny. I've seen and read more than a few people mention D'ello's coffee addiction (apparently in one of the 2003 episodes he stayed awake for 3 days fueled on nothing but espresso? is this true??) Well, even if it's fanon and not canon I thought it amusing. I half-assed that coffee mug.

2: This is in fact the first TMNT picture I did which is why Mikey looks so grumpy about it XDD. I love Mikey. Mikey is by far my favourite brother. His forehead's too big here as well as the anatomy's a little screwy, but it made me confident enough to draw everything else you see here

3: Heeeere's Mikey! Not much point to this one, I was trying to get my head around Mikey's face and how it works. this was the first successful picture of him and his baby blues.

4: It's Donny! Again I was trying to figure out how Don's face should look. I feel his eyes are still a little big here, but Don gives me a little bit of trouble because I'm torn between focusing on his intellect, his compassionate personality or the fact that he's the second youngest. the headphones are just because I LOVED his headphones in the movie.

5: Usagi! What are you doing here?! haha! oh well. It's Usagi people!

6: This was the second Raph I attempted (the first was a flop) ..and I will admit, I ADORE this picture! I was SO proud when I drew it and dammit I'm still proud. It just exudes 'Raphness'.

7: Mikey again! (I drew him so many times because he's the easiest for me) Just being manipulatively cute. He' so evil

8: Leo! About time he showed up! There aren't a lot of Leo's here because of all of them Leo proved the hardest for me to get my head around. He didn't come out badly here though

9: Raph again! I Love Raph. Raph is my second favourite, probably because I can relate to him on a lot of levels, The less obvious levels I mean. He feels his emotions VERY strongly, anger, sadness and caring and compassion, but he's not very good at expressing them which I totally get. Here however, he's just leering XDD

10: Leo again! This is the first leo that came out decent! Figures the Leo that actually comes out decent is the one where I draw him worrying over something huh? haha! His head's a little too round here, but still good

11: Mikey again! This time I wanted to draw him without a smile, because let's face it, it's easy to capture Mikey's personality when he smiles, but it's harder when he's not grinning like a loony. Alternate line for "Has Any-one seen Klunk?" is "Dude where's my cat?"

12: Mikey giving his trademark girly scream. I wanted him to be shrieking before running away from a Raph beating but his eye direction was wrong, so instead I had him yelling at Raph for smashing a plate or something XDD

13: Pose off time!! First we have Raph! I like his body language but I feel I didn't draw him bulky enough. He needs more shoulder to him

14: Mikey! He's kinda floating in mid air but at least I feel I got his body language to be very Mikey-ish.

15: Donny! I won't like, I love him in this pose. I drew him with his legs too long though. I resized them very slightly in Photoshop so they look a little better.

16: And finally Leo! I tried to draw him in a full pose before and it sucked royally. So i went to bed and came back to him this afternoon and now I like how he came out. And yes yes I know the cartoony heads kinda clash with the anatomy but I'm still trying to work out all the kinks, I mean this was my FIRST TRY! Still, I like Leo's the best out of the four of them. Helps to reference!

So there you have it! Not quite there yet, but I'm going in the right direction! I just need to practice!
