Oh my god. I don't know why this escalated to this point.Started as a livejournal request for 'John Watson in the bath and Sherlock Holmes on his laptop nearby'...apparently my brain wanted him REALLY nearby.
I can't even figure out if this is Slash or not. It's totally not Gen though? IDK GUYS. I'M BEMUSED BY MY OWN CREATION.

Watson looks tired, poor thing was probably too sleepy to fight back when it was suggested they share a bath out of convinience so they could both get to bed early to solve a case the next day. And Holmes is dominating the tub with his egotistocal self, I really like that. I really like this picture, it's lovely.

Oh, this is wonderful. I love John's expression of exasperation. Though I think what I'm in love with the most is how perfectly textured the rug, towels, and shower curtain are. They're wonderful.

I agree with everyone who's saying Holmes is doing this to save water... he's a sociopath, so I think the last thing on his mind is sex. If anything, he's so absorbed in his laptop that he's probably forgotten Watson is there xD

I think my favorite part is that John isn't even protesting. He looks like he never did in the first place. He wanted to ask Sherlock what he was doing, but then realized it was probably easier if he just didn't question.
And Sherlock is just being his usual slightly awkward self.

Yay for asexual!Sherlock. It's brilliant, and that's how I've always interpreted him, ever since I read the books years ago, so that's what'll stick with me forever (even though the occasional well-written Sherlock/John can be nice, I'll admit). To me, the friendship between Holmes and Watson is deeper than romance - it's that really strong platonic bond, y'know? I think it's so much sweeter that way, somehow. (:

Yeah! I totally understand what you mean. And to me like...it's so much deeper than just friendship. To me, it IS a kind of love where it's beyond platonic and sexual, like...asexual/heterosexual-life-partners? IDK but I like to think that they could be each others 'exception to the rule' but their bond is so close it's not even necessary?
Obviously this is just how I see it! Haha, I am rambling. But I do agree. I do love some Sherlock/John sometimes but fanfic that revolves around that sweet and quiet adoration they have for each other is my favorite.
