Bonestealer Demons are very self explanatory. Looking like an eyeless hybrid of lizard, insect, and squid, the strangest thing about these Demons is not their appearance, but rather their skin. In development, Bonestealer Demons are merely quadrupedial-shaped clusters of nerves and muscle, without any protective skin coating. However, unlike other animals, Bonestealers never quite grow their skin, and forever live with a membranous, vulnerable veiny outside that does little more than keep their insides in. Though agile and lithe, human nails alone are enough to pierce their skin, and the brittle bone "substitute" they grow inside themselves to support their structure does not fare well against physical trauma. The Bonestealer is a brittle Demon... without the proper armor.

Though their skin makes them vulnerable, it is also their greatest strength. Constantly supplied with stem cells and nutrient flow, their skin regenerates so fast a gash may scab over in mere minutes. Having no real "shield" between their body and the outside world also allows them to passively integrate objects into or onto themselves. Their favorite objects in question are bones (hence their name) which are durable, shapely, and easy to find (simply kill the nearest mammalian organism). They will initially try to replace their original low-grade bones with the new ones, but after that goal is accomplished, they wear them on the exterior to function as additional armor.

In short the Bonestealer is a Demon that strengthen itself with the remains if its victims. It's easy to tell how old a Bonestealer is or how many it has killed: it adds the prey to itself.
