Windows Classic meets 2px rounded rectangles.This was just for kicks, I love the simplicity of windows classic, but I like a little eye candy too. I think I channeled a little ~b0se in the making, cos' some elements remind me of his work. A mention to him outta respect, but all images were made by me. Big thanks to ~reactART for his help.
3 fonts included - Calibri, Trebuchet, and Frutiger Linotype (sorry, I know they arnt too popular these days, but I think they look great)
Feel free to leave criticism and bug reports.
*Mint substyle based on 3dcc by ~saemke
*Tango substyle based on another 3dcc, but I cant remember where I got it.

I've always been in search for the right windows xp theme, may it be a vs or wb theme, that will please my meticulous eyes. Dozens after dozens have come and go, and I'm very happy to say that I found the best vs theme out there that suites my qualifications!

While I generally stay well away from anything that remotely resembles a default system theme, I really like this.
The gradient work in the start panel is particularly good. Plus it looks great with the tango patcher!

You should do a really dark gray/black version of all of these as in make the currently gray parts dark gray or black.

Although I'm not a big fan of the classic Windows style, this is a breath of fresh air. Highly usable, and a nice change of pace.

Ooh, a beautiful VS.
It's like looking at your old Win98 computer and giving it an Intel Dual Core processor, 10 GB of RAM, a 360 GB hard drive, and calling it up-to-speed.
Which would be a godly thing to do, mind you.

another great visual style
im not a big fan of the grey tone
it seems a bit overused nowadays
but its overall a great theme
buttons and overall smoothness
make it one of the best

Fabulous revisioning of the classic look. Using it now. Couple of things - text on buttons in ccleaner is getting cut off. Also, dropdown View menu in Opera, if you notice Style submenu, the S looks more like a 5. Dunno if this is peculiar to my computer or a bug in the vs. Love the font options. Trebuchet is my fave. Thanks again. It's really smooth.

Not bad, not bad at all except it needs a shellstyle.
However, I think all visual styles need a shellstyle, so I'm a tad biased on this point.
Also, do you think you could whip up a tangerine version?

There aren't very many visual styles I really like, but this is absolutely a fabulous release.
Btw, I like Calibri. Every VS I get, I edit the msstyle to use Calibri
Just one suggestion if you don't mind -- would be nice if you would make various start buttons. Just a thought!
