Well gee, I don't think complaining to her about it is going to make anything get better, it's not her fault.
Let's see. You could increase the size of the image and zoom in nce past actual pixels or so. So when you resize it andstuff ir looks prettier whether or not your lines are waggly. I like to use a small brush and then duplicate the layer to make it neater and more crisp.
or lets see. You could get a tablet before cplaining that your lineart doesn't look good compared to someone who has one.

Er... it plugs into your computer... and you have a pen. And wheever the pen is no the tablet, the cursor is on the screen. So it's much like drawing on the actual computer. And it senses pressure and stuff... Are you SERIOUSLY this clueless?

You're welcome. And I'm not trying to be rude, just I've never seen anyone out to buy a tablet that doesn't know what it is :'D . In any case you can get one from wacom's site. And they even have this lil' test thing you can take and it'll tell you which tablet is right for you. :/

i also wanted to ask u something.
whats a "ref sheet" ?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Shinerai In reply to orlandobloomsbabe [2006-07-14 16:32:16 +0000 UTC]
It's a picture that one ceates of a character that shows details of them, usualy to make the character easier to draw for others. I have one in my gallery but Im too lazy to find it XD. It's normaly of the character standing there or something and sometimes different views of the character. like fromt or behind and side, and seperate drawings on the same picture of details such as head shots, important markings, equipment or so on.
Here are a few examples :3

Okay so maybe that was a little in depth, but man, I love refrence sheets

This is an awesome and very useful tutorial! I'll have to try this out some time. Just one question, how long do you think it takes to color a picture using this method? The way I color things takes forever, and this looks fairly quick. But thank you for making this. And your lil critter is quite cute.

etuix In reply to Wyandotte [2006-06-19 12:35:05 +0000 UTC]
I depends on how large your picture is. If I dont count all the time with copy and pasting all the screenie stuff in, I think 30 minutes maybe.. just for colouring the whole thing. Not outlining :3
But I am quite slow with outlining ^^

Awesome tutorial. I'll try to use that color technique, I always paint with hand xDD and I'll get the same tablet you have, my best friend has one, a wacom graphire 3...it's a really good tablet

You can get them online here if you live in the United States. I think Intuos is better than Graphire but everyone is entitled to their own opinion
