Description
Well, there ya go. That's how I do it.If you use this tutorial I'd like to see the results, please!
There's no tricks to shading-- you just need to practice it, and observe the way light interacts with objects in real life. There's no other way to do it, simple as that.
One thing I forgot to mention is that I have a tablet. That helps me with photoshop a lot.
The page I used as an example is GOTF issue 6, page 4, I think...
Feel free to ask me for clarification, if you need it. I'm happy to help.
Hope this helps!

Sure it is-- in fact, I'll work much better. You'll have way more options.

THANK YOU! *cough* I suffer from fan girl spasms too. Iβll have to try this out, although the air brush tool still baffles me. My sister and I have Photoshop Elements 2.0 and the settings basically look the same as yours. Itβs just the air brush tool . . . maybe the settings are off, Iβm not sure. Anyway, thank you and let the insanity continue.

Wow this might actually be useful.
Well the first 4 steps anyway. Over shinyness is not necessary for the shading I want to do

It should be, but I've never used that program much. Just look through the icons in the tool bar and right-click on everything 'till you find the paint bucket. It's there somewhere...
