Description It started with me, on a sunny day, walking around in town, talking to my parents. Nothing much is happening. It's just a normal, not so eventful day.

Then, all of a sudden, something explodes and I find myself flung through the air and knocked out by something. When I wake up again, I sit myself up and find everything is in a sort of red smoke and burning. I feel my whole face hurting as I start looking around at the now almost completely ruined town. My mouth hurts almost more than anything else. I put my finger in my mouth and feel that a big piece of my jaw is missing: from the left front tooth, to the fifth tooth to the right in your jaw. In other words, a piece of my jaw, holding four teeth, has been busted out, somehow.
I find the piece, laying just a couple of inches from where I am sitting. I pick it up and look at it. The actual jaw on it looked a bit burnt, with the teeth thin as toothpicks, with a dark brown colour on them. I utter a silent "My god..." before I continue to look around.

After sitting down for a while, with the piece of my jaw in my hand, trying to digest the situation, I decided to stand up and have a look around town. I put the piece in my pocket and as I start to walk around, I find no one living, but no dead bodies lying around, either. At least, I hope the things I DID see weren't bodies.  I had looked around for almost thirty seconds, before the heat made my eyes sore, so I, of course, blinked. However, my right eye was not blinking. I tried and tried, but my right eye would not close and the soreness of the heat was getting unbearable.

Here, my mother woke me up, to get to school, but since I had slept for less than two hours, I was tired. I had been sick, as well. Still not feeling that well, I called in sick and went to bed again. Not the best Idea I've had.

As I fell asleep again, the dream continued. I know that, because that piece of my jaw was still off. This time, though, I was in another town. In this one, everything looked normal. No burning buildings. No red fog. Just a regular town. I was, however, in an apartment with light walls. It looked like a regular apartment, except for the fact that there was no glass in the windows. I looked out one of the windows. All I saw was another house, facing this one and the streets were made of sand, with no people on it. I then found a door, leading to a bathroom. I got a huge shock after looking in the mirror in that room.

The right half of my face was gone. It looked like it had been either torn or burned off. No matter what had happened to it, it was gone. The skin was gone, as was some muscles. It looked as it had been rotting for a while, as well. My lips on that side were missing, so that my teeth were visible. My teeth on that part looked exactly like the teeth on my broken jaw piece. My right eye was also exposed. Not a very pretty sight, if I may say so, myself. This sort of explained why I could not blink with it, earlier.

I decided to go see a doctor, but showing my face out there was not a choice. I saw no people, but that didn't necessarily mean there WERE no people out. I took my bowler hat from the shelf beside the door and left the building. I don't own one in real life, but I somehow knew that it was mine.
I went out and as I feared, there were people outside. I covered my face as I passed by, squeezing between people. I did not cover my whole face. I was just covering the butchered part, by simply tilting the hat over it, holding the hat down with just my fingertips and using the palm of my hand to cover the rest of my face, without touching it. I was seeing myself, running towards a place where I guess a doctor lived, during this event. I was, for some reason, also running with someone else, looking exactly like me, with a burnt face and all. Who that was, I don't know, but after hiding in alleys and doors, to take off my hat and cool my face down, and then FINALLY managing to make my way to the house spoken of, this extra person had disappeared.

I went into the house, which luckily was a hospital. I knew just where to go, since this hospital has been in many of my dreams. Last time I was here, though, I was in the basement to fix the lighting to the house, when the basement's concrete ceiling started to crumble and soon was falling over me. I made it through that ordeal unharmed, since the ceiling crumbled very slowly, with the pieces that fell from it to be no bigger than a tennis ball. This time, I was not here to fix the lighting. This time, I needed to get my face fixed. I went to see the doctor I usually go to, in my dreams. This happened to be a doctor that I go to in real life, but there he's an orthopaedist. In my dream, he was some other kind of doctor.

He wasn't there, though. He was out on some urgent appointment. I ended up standing there, looking at his door for a while, wondering what to do. After approximately a minute, I decided to go into the restrooms, to have another look at what used to be a complete and fully functional face. I locked the door, took of my hat and looked in the mirror.

As I thought, still completely messed up.

I looked at it, to see if I could digest the situation once again. What on Earth had happened to me?

All of a sudden, I hear a sound by the door. It was an old, wooden door. You know, one of those doors with a big window on the upper half of it. It had only a sheet of fabric where the window used to be and now someone was taking it down. I shouted and told whoever was taking it down to stop it. I didn't want everyone to see me, especially not when I looked like this.
I rushed to the door to keep the sheet up, but as I put it up again, he was taking it down. I saw the face of this person. It was my friend, which I'd had since pre-school. He was standing there, without an expression. I asked him what he was doing there. He did not respond. He just made his usual head-tilt and continued to take the sheet down. He had seen my face, I did not worry about that, but I did not want the rest of the ones out there to see it, so I put up the sheet again. He kept taking it down, until I took my hat and I decided to go out there.

When I got out, he was gone. He was nowhere to be seen. So was everyone else, as well.

Just a couple of seconds later, I was lying in a hospital bed. Again, I did not know how I got there, but at the end of the bed, a pair of twins was standing, just looking at me, leaning on the beds end. These two were also persons I knew. I did not like these guys. They were just making a lot of ruckus at my school. They always annoyed me, even though they never did anything to me. Now, they were standing there, just smiling at me. It was not a teasing smile; they were, for some reason happy to see me in health.

In health? What the Hell were they talking about? My face was completely busted and had been rotting, as well!

I look to my left, where I find a mirror and there I see my face, almost completely restored, though a little swollen. I hear one of the twins say that they should take a picture of it. The second one agrees and does so. I see the small flash from the cell-phone camera, before I see them walk away, not looking at the camera, but at me. They said something that I could not make out, since their voices got muffled, but I think they again said that it was great to see that I was restored.

I got out of the bed and headed out of the hospital. I walked down the town and found some sort of supermarket. I went in, since I was feeling hungry and wanted something to eat. Once in there, I browsed around several products: everything from big cranes, to small handles for everything. I was only interested in getting something to eat, so I went for the aisle of different pieces food. There, I found apples, pears, lemons... yeah, mostly just fruit. There were some small wrapped candies, lying in one place, but I felt no urge for those, so I continued on. As I got to the end, I turned around and saw an aisle that was angled in 45 degrees from the aisles I was standing by. If you would have seen the place from above, you could say that the place looked like an arrow, with me, standing in the tip.

I started walking down this alley and started looking around, just of curiosity, when I all of a sudden collided with someone. It was a big and round man that I had collided with. I apologized and said that I didn't see him. I then saw something extremely familiar, lying on the ground, just about a foot away from me.

It was the piece of my jaw.

I picked it up, only to find this being a prosthetic piece. It looked exactly like the broken off piece, with the small, molten teeth and all. Holding it, I saw it had gotten quite a hit from falling to the ground and some of those extremely thin teeth were falling out.

Here, I suddenly woke up again, without any particular reason. I woke up, just like that. The first thing I thought about after waking up was to check if my jaw was in one piece. I held my breath as I pressed it, tugged it, felt for any signs of prosthesis. Feeling that this was a real part that had not been busted out, I breathed out in deep relief.

I am not one to start crying after horrible things I've dreamt, but after this, I could not avoid shedding a tear or two. I then went downstairs and felt an extreme happiness go through my body as I heard the sound of my parents talking to me, saying that I have to fix my sleeping rhythm, since it might go to my head, one day. I tried to stay away from crying, as I did my usual breakfast routine: Take a bowl, grab the box of cornflakes, fetch the milk from the fridge, the sugar from the cupboard, pour it all into the bowl and take a spoon from the drawer.
It got to this point, but when I were about to start eat, I couldn't hold it back any longer.  My dad had gone out of the room, but my mom was still there. I silently went to the bathroom and tried to calm myself down.

As I got back, my eyes had turned red and my mother got worried and asked me what the matter was. I sat down to eat and at first, I didn't want to talk about it, but after a while, I decided to let it out. I REALLY needed someone to talk to and who can be better to talk to, than a mother?

I slept for a total of approximately twelve hours that night, so at least I was not tired, when I woke up.
