This is a very cool shot, it's surreal because the DOF makes it look superimposed. It's easy to see after close inspection, however, that you backfocused from the edge and used a large aperture. The contrasting color and reflections from the brick below are exciting but pleasing to the eye. Good composition!

I love the composition. It looks like they are two seperate shots, but i know they are not. I also like the way the water looks behind those bricks.

Hmmm, I'm not really sure about this photo. It looks too digitally manipulated. I like the reflection in the top of the water and the drips coming down, but I feel the piece itself is too inconsistant. It looks almost as though it's 2 images on top of one another. Try moving the top slab further up the image maybe so that the whole thing is split into thirds and not in half.
Also the colour of the bricks at the bottom is too rich and distracting, so perhaps making them less saturated would help that as well.

This is just the way it was... I agree that it would be better off with the slab at a third way down, but I wanted the reflections of the brick. With the bricks at the bottom, well... I like them standing out.
Thank you for the criticism, it's always welcome. I'll keep these things in mind...

Wow ... I love this photograph, simply love it.
The complex interplay of patterns, the captured but slightly blurred motion of the water, disparate elements of brick stone and water all woven together, muted colors with a certain richness as well.
Wonderful and deserving of a :+fav+
