I still don't know why CBS just didn't help them with the film and slap there name all over it.

Because CBS didnt like how popular it was or that it was gonna do with 2 million dollars what takes them 60-100 million to do. Theu didn't like that they had well known actors and actresses in the cast who had worked for CBS and paramount, and so they decided to destroy it and steal some of its idea for the Sexually Transmitted Disease, aka Star Trek: Discovery.

I hate that it takes tens of millions to make a film, when I clearly doesn't. And to think what could be done with that money instead.

But the writing is bad, many of the actors worse, and despite what people say it is not like TOS in any facet except one, which is it tries to explain todays social issues, but it fails even at that. And that is sad cause some of my fav actors and actresses are in the show, and this will be a black mark on their careers.

Tbh, I've not watched it. The initial impressions left too much to be desired and the fact I'd have to pay to watch it is a no-go. There are rumor's circulating that it's gonna get canceled anyway due to decreasing ratings so.

black mark on their careers, the series might nearly kill the franchise, and send it back into the slumber it was in during TOS this nearly permanently, but hey rather have that than it turned into a cash cow, hell atleast JJ-prise had the deceny to say why it was different and if you knew his past products it wouldnt have surprised anyone.Β

No, that's ships are from Axanar, a fanfilm on you tube. You should have a look mate, they did a 15mins trailer that's mind blowing. But CBS stopped them doing a film.
