Well I asked you guys what you wanted for the next craft project after the Hanna Barbera Godzilla, and to my surprise the great majority asked for this spiky lady. I'm not the world's biggest fan of the MUTO I confess but I am a completist with figures, and honestly after a few sculpting hiccups this figure was surprisingly fun to do. She's also not as chalky white as the picture would suggest, but as I've said before I'm stuck with my phone camera until I can afford to buy a better one. Regardless, one more check mark in the KOTM monster cast list and another member of the Monsterverse to put on the shelf!

It looks really solid. Can't wait to see if you get to that Kong Bat thing from the graphic novel of Skull Island. Camazot. I wonder when they will publish that comic.

If you want to ever really go old school and super obscured for Godzilla monsters...maybe you can do the Locust King Iganos and Saron from the first Darkhorse issue of Godzilla: King of the Monsters in 1987.

Oh, yes. The MUTOs (or Jinshin Mushi) do have quite the lore in the Monsterverse. Even the Skull Crawlers could make great Gyaos callbacks with their voracious appetites

Yeah, my last camera died right in the middle of G-Fest and all my camera-wise friends keep trying to get me to buy these $700 monsters, and I'm just sitting here thinking that I'm not trying to win photography contests, just take decent HD pics of my crap
