So, here you have it. My first attempts to participate in an art contest. This is for 's contest. They're emblems for the two factions in DDA's story, What a Dream: the Creator's Army, the group of characters loyal to Jacob, the artist who drew them, and the Armageddon Covenant, which is, well, not-so loyal.
I went off his original placeholder logos of a phoenix and a boar for the Creator's Army and Armageddon Covenant, respectively. Although the phoenix, I decided to turn into an eagle... Admittedly, it has this American feel to it. In any event, the star represents that spark of creativity for creation, and the wreath or shield represent the protection of peace. I did four variations, because I wasn't really satisfied with how the whole thing looks...
Then there's the boar for the Covenant. I figured it should have this aggressive look to it, so I gave it a sword, and a wreath of fire, in one rendition. The halo for the other is my interpretation that they're doing what they believe to be a good thing. So the boar in the second version has a sort of... warrior saint feel to it. At least, that's what I was going for.
Well, I've got my fingers crossed. Wish me luck!

've already looked it over and I am very impressed at how you did the Creator's Army emblem and Armageddon's Covenant's they are both beautifully done and how I imagined it, so far you are the only contestant besides a friend at school, but yours is so creative for the comic,The third one for CA is most likely the one I'll use for it and the first one for AC also is the one I would use. Again thank you for submitting to the contest if you win you could send me a picture of your Ocs or of yourself, you would be getting the spot in the chapter, and a commission of the gang with your character like in the journal stating this.

Hey, thanks for the review. Glad you like them. I'll admit that I'm still not entirely satisfied, although that might just be a perfectionist part of me. If I win the contest, I guess that means I've done enough. ^_^;
Also, thanks for the tip on the icons. I'm feeling much better about it now.

No problem. I love how you described each point of the logos with the wreaths and shields also might make some tshirts with the logo idk yet but most likely your design is going to be a sure fire winner talk to you tomorrow
