Description
*Edit* Sorry for the repost... But I updated the image. This one has much better contrast.*This piece is a lot more complex that it looks. It looked really bad when I was finished with it, so I cut off the top at an angle, polished it, and then added a battuto technique to the side.
It's a three hour piece. A cane pickup incalmo switch axis... After I battutoed the sides and cut the top it looked much MUCH better. I quite like it now!
It's about 16" tall

I thank you kindly!
Ironic enough, this piece ended up looking practically nothing like I had originally intended before I started. But through a series of "Happy accidents" it ended up looking how it does, and I couldn't be more pleased with it!
