Description I was doing a lot of photo referenced drawings here and this was the result. Three Red foxes and two Arctic foxes in their winter glory. I think my favorite is the little fellow yawning.

I love foxes! They're so cute! Nice picture! It looks very realistic. I'm writing a story about foxes, and i was wondering if I could use this in my own version for my characters.

I don't have a scanner, I used to, so I won't be submitting it. X3 Thank you.

May I ask how you would be using the images in the piece? Are you going to be using it as reference for your own drawings or are you going to be using the actual image itself as an illustration? Please understand that I'm not trying to be harsh or uncooperative, but I'm really wary of where the arts are going, how they're going to be used, and like to be able to keep track of them. Since these are drawings referenced from photographs, I'm more likely to let them be used, but also would like to know where they're going since I'm not too certain how the copyright lies on these images (after all it was originally done for practice). If I can be sure sure exactly how they're going to be used, I'm more than willing to lay out my terms for using my art (ie credit, linkage, etc.).

I'm sorry it took me a while to get back to you, but this is the first time this has come up and I wanted to think on it a bit before I responded.

Well..You see...I am writing a book on foxes and prophecies and all that, and I can never find any good poses! Where do you get your poses? And I will just be drawing it myself. I will not post it on here, cause I don't have a scanner, but I just wanted to ask. I didn't want to be arrogant and steal your art.

Most of the places where I get the images are online, usually I type in a "fox" and see what I get. Other sources are National Geographic (which can be hard since it's a magazine) and occasionally an animal book. I think a few might even be from dA as well. But usually it's google, GN, or really any other magazine.

That said, you can use the poses for your own drawings, but I would like to be credited as the person from whom you based your drawings one, if you please. I have on my page with the pictures that they're from pictures that may be copyrighted.

Very nice. You really captured the feeling and movement in some of these. My favorites are the two at the bottom.

They are cute aren't they?

Amusingly, these were "reference drawings" for my little mechanical guys. XD The mouse-slapping guy had a fun pose, difficult but fun. . so I just couldn't resist. =3

And thanks again for the fav. <3
