Description
The final product.Done in mixed media, as the list of materials used below can attest. Some things I love, some things not so much. The infinitely dissatisfied craftsman is me.
I had to go over in ink the border again after colouring and the result was not what I wanted since I have little control with my hands. The ink also conspired against me. I do think that Crysthel (the white dragon in the middle) is my favourite part, I like how she came out. She even beats out the background, which I think is a bit too bright (I never want to see foliage again). The green underpainting was an interesting experiment...although I don't know if it made any difference or if I just can't see it.
Made for a birthday present (four months late) to a talented young comicker who's webcomic can be found here . What she will get will look slightly different than what is here.

Wow... I'll have to comment on this sometime when I'm not feeling so faint.
But really, good job!

Ok, I THINK it looks great xD I mean, in the full view it's kinda too big to view it properly, but the small view is too small.. can you size it down a bit? =X
PS - HOLLY CRAP the border, you're insane. O_O
And next time, if you're having trouble being accurate with a pen, I suggest that instead of re-inking you should just 'ink' with colored pencils insted. I mean, just use them to make a greater contrast between the two areas instead of using ink to do it for you

Yeah, I made huge on purpose because I didn't want to lose the detail on that crazy border. I edited it so that the resolution is 1024 pixels wide with a note to download the larger version, is that all right?
I'll try that coloured pencil suggestion...although I'm not too sure how it would have worked on this, the border is probably at most 2cm and a not super sharp coloured pencil might do the same thing. But maybe a harder pencil? I'll have to think on that, or stop doing such small borders. Thanks!
