Description
My sister tends to get a lot of deer in her back yard. Could have something to do with her leaving some food out - she gets anywhere from ten to twenty of them at a time. They're shy, but not too shy.I liked this shot better than the full body shots.

I don't normally like deers but the way this picture was shot made this deer look cool. I can't really explain it but it's just an awesome photo.

nice capture. I love the way you have aligned the deer to the left of the image. gives it a better look and a view into the background toO!

probably because it's partly obscured --has foreground & is in the corner--gives the shot character

I like this shot a lot, because it captures the essence of the shyness and curiosity of the deer while at the same time giving it that still wild feeling. Good job.

great shot, but I object to its being in free to roam group as your sister is interfering with the deer. And that group is about wild animals taken under ethical conditions. Getting the deer to walk into your yard with food violates the idea of no interference or staging.

Hmm.. true. I didn't think of it that way when I submitted to the group. She did start to feed them because they would otherwise eat her flowers and buds. They started showing up originally without her feeding them, but there are certainly more of them that feed there now (and more that don't starve during the winter months!). I probably would not have got the shot without "feeding time"

Fantastic shot. I love how she is peaking out from around the tree, getting an idea of what is going on. Awesome focus too. Great shot!
