This little image was created from something my friend saidI was chatting with him on MSN, I said something, then he goes off-topic for no reason saying "The real question is what do you do when a metroid gets a hold of your nuts"
Of course, anybody who knows what a metroid is know exactly what would happen if they do grab your crotch'
I tried some new techniques, nothing special, but I wouldn't never use them again
I like how the highlights came out in the hair, I may use that technique from now on for my hair style
I also have noticed that my art style has change dramaticly than from my more usual 'chibi' styled drawings
I really like, it really defines my own style as something original, like how the torso just juts out in the middle for no reason
But that doesn't mean I will throw my chibi style away, I may still work on it, or just change it based on the mood of the artwork
And I leave you with this final thought: Metroids, Friggin, Rock!!

OK, not gonna lie, this is about the funniest thing I've seen all day.
The background you've selected is really quite dynamic, adding to the overall feeling of motion (PAIN!) in the piece. The color scheme of it also highlights the foreground, as any good background should, but you already knew that.
I love the attention you gave to the Metroid, it looks really good. And the emote next to it is what makes this image for me. I also like the texture and highlights in his hair, as you mentioned. Looks really good, though on close inspection it doesn't really match the rest of the body. But at a glance, it looks really really good.
I love the posture of the figure, it's like he got caught mid-gesture in a sentence by the Metroid and hasn't yet had time to drop to the fetal position and cry.
If there was any single suggestion that I'd make for this image it would be that there should be a tear or two welling up in his squinted eye for effect. Having been racked many times, and hit with bats and the like there, you do cry. Even if you don't sob. You die on the inside, and tears are the sign of that.
Overall, great. This seriously just made my day.

Metroids were a total pain in the ass in Metroid Prime. Especially in the Impact Crater -- It was a hassle to kill them off and bolting wasn't easy either. (( Getting knocked off right as you're reaching the door was baaaad. ))
I dig the concept, and love the panicked expression. x'D

That's pretty damn funny, man! I appreciate it when I actually get video game references (doesn't happen too often).
As for his hair, it's kinda cool-looking, but a bit out-of-place. Maybe you could round-out the composition by applying a similar (more detailed) method to his shoes. Then it would be his hair, the Metroid on his junk, and his shoes, all with the crazy glowing gradient effects.
Food for thought as you keep progressing. Really great stuff, though!

I deplore your use of the Comic Sans typeface. Tasteless at best.
But otherwise, the answer is simple. Either morph into morph-ball form, and plant a bomb, thus dislodging the metroid from your crotch, or if you are exceptionally well endowed, grab a copy of Playboy.
