Here it is! My first tutorial! YAY! Ok, enough with the exclamation points.I hope this helps someone. Comments on it's effectiveness are much appreciated.

.......thx for the help...my problem is often to stick to one sketch for a long time then realise it crap and do some photoshop work instead...the quality of my drawings are acctuly compleatly random....sometimes good sometimes not....with no pattern to it...witchcraft it is!

I tend to be guilty of pressing too hard when sketching, myself. Many rubbers have been lost, and many sheets of paper ravaged due to such a habit.
I know everyone else loves it, but I also have to say how much I like the cycle. Nothing quite like threatening the stationary to get artistic inspiration flowing. Or, indeed, to prompt your parents to start shopping for a straitjacket.

Hee hee hee. I am glad you like it. Yeah, about that pressing too hard. Part of it is wanting to get the drawing finished quickly. But be patient. Add on detail and darkness in layers. Sort of massaging the sketch until it is right.

The last time I massaged a sketch, it died. I think I hit a ninja assassin pressure point, or something...

It is a Kodak Easy Share. Generally I am opposed to any technology that has easy in the title, because easy translates to minimal options. But it is a really good camera. It takes great, high resolution pictures. I love it. When I get back home I can check on the actual model if you like.
