The zen pictue came out better than I had thought. See the sort of aura thing. That is a garage light in the ceiling. I didn't even realize it was in the shot, much less in a great position.

Yes, but better. Fireworks is mainly designed for web graphics. It has vector tools and a few photo adjusting tools, but nothing like Photoshop. I use Firefox for making web graphics or graphics to use in Flash (because they get along best).

Free hand is sort of Macromedia's version of Illustrator, but it isn't as good and they aren't really updating it.

You can get the education version of the entire suite for like $500 [link] hotoshop&x=0&y=0 that is stilll a lot of money, but a lot less than the regular version.

Truthfully, I found the 'frankenstien' technique really interesting. I've never thought of doing it that way, and I'm totally intrigued now. ^^

I was pleased with the photos. The zen was a happy accident. The light right behind my head is a ceiling light that I didn't plan for, but it gave me a glowing feel. :d Happy accident.

I am glad I was able to get you thinking. Try using the technique. It'll be more useful and make more sense once I do the second tutorial.

LOL! oh my yes the 'timer'... I have a digital too (well i stole it from Ma) but it isn't that great, i know of better ones. But they are cool. And yes you should be pleased with those because they are very amusing and not crappy.

Yes yes hug your camera now before you get pissed at it. But maybe you'll have a more loving relationship with your camera than my stolen one ^_^
