Here it is. I promised I would have this drawing completed tonight. I love these two women to pieces. They're using their spiritual powers together and about to fire off their sacred arrows to who knows where ^_^ Anyway, I had a blast with this! Hope you guys like it too! Here is the sketch for all who wanted to see it ^_^[link]

The differences in their personalities and the fact that Kikyo was so overwhelmed by revenge because of premature death, she was perceived as "evil" in the beginning of the series. Her character grew and changed. She had some great character development happen for her, but people still refuse to see it. Or the Kagome haters hate Kagome's vibrant, outgoing and cheery personality. Some also think she's annoying, especially when her temper strikes. But yeah idk. It's silly honestly.

to me they are one,seriously they are from different time and weren suppose to meet each other just like we cannot go back time and meet our younger self.

I don't really feel that they are one. Kagome is just a reincarnation of Kikyo. They share a similar soul, but not the same fate. They're both in love with Inuyasha and desire to be with him, it gives them a common bond, and they're both priestesses, which is great, but at the same time It was much different from Kagome than for Kikyo. Regardless though, they have very different personalities and I like them both for who they are.

Actually Yes they are one.What happened is Kikyo died and she came back as Kagome. Regardless of what Urasue did to ressurect Kikyo as a Zombie she now exists as Kagome. It doesn't matter if Kagome has very little of her personality or not (which is very untrue watch the whole series and you will find out that not only do they look alot alike they act alot alike as well). The general belief about Reincarnation is that you die and your soul enters the body of another person. Even though you may have died physically. You still exists as that person who now has your soul. So even though Kikyo died physically she now exists as Kagome. Kikyo wasn't destined to have a happy ending with Inuyasha as herself but she was destined to have a happy ending with him as Kagome or otherwise in her next life. She loved him and that love she had carried over into Kagome. Kagome didn't fall in love with Inuyasha herself she had already fallen in love with him as Kikyo. It just took a while for her to realize that love. So believe me Kikyo got what she wanted in the end. To say otherwise would be to treat the soul and body as if they are seperate entities with no relation which is academically false.ย
Think about it if your beloved died and came back as another person would you miss the chance to be with him or her. The whole Kikyo Inuyasha Kagome thing is actually kind of romantic in that sense. Kikyo dies but wanted to be with Inuyasha so bad that she literally came back as another person to be with him. The whole reason Kagome was able to go through the bone eaters well was because of Kikyo. Not because of Inuyasha or the Shikon Jewelย
When Urasue used a fraction of Kagome's soul to ressurect Zombie Kikyo that wasn't necessarily Kikyo it was a shell with a fraction of Kikyo's soul. That shell had her memories and everyhting but that wasn't kikyo because Kikyo is Kagome now. So she and Kagome are one person and that one person is Kagome. The whole reason Kikyo shell or Semi Kikyo came back was so that Kikyo and Inu could move on from what happened and love each other all over again. When she died she went back into Kagome's body and her light went into the Shikon Jewel. Then she as Kagome got to be with Inuyasha in the end.ย
Oh yeah and I think the reason they were jealous of each other initially was because of Inuyasha. If it hadn't been for him they probably would have gotten along fabulously needless to say. She was bitter because she felt Kagome had taken over her life. But she eventually gets over it and Kagome gets over her jealousy and they start to like each other towards the end and they had a very strong bond. In Kikyo's last fight with Naraku Kagome was able to tell what Kikyo was thinking which Inuyasha was incaplable of. After her death Kagome was unwilling to break her promise to Kikyo. Zombie Kikyo died believing Kagome could destroy Naraku. The whole KikKag thing is undeniable.ย

THey are essentially the same person but because Kagome was raised in this time as a normal girl and Kikyo was in the feudal era as a priestess they are very different they have the same soul but everything else is different, Kagome was allowed to live with her family, go to school hang around with friends, have a boyfriend, Kikyo wasn't allowed to do what other girls can because she was a priestess she couldn't have friends or be in love and was destine to die at a young age so it leads to different people although hey have the same soul.ย

You don't need to lecture me on this story. I already know. Yes, they have the same soul, but that doesn't mean they're one person and Kagome hates being called Kikyo. She's Kagome and nobody else. She is her own person with her own personality, just as Kikyo is or rather was. I've been a fan of this series since the manga was first released and translated in English almost 15 years ago.

I have started watch inuyasha when i was 10 and i reread the manga 10-20 times and i rewatch the anime twice.there was once when inuyasha told kikyou to go back to kagome's body

I own the entire manga collection as well as the entire anime (Final Act included) on DVD. I've read and watched it many times. I have come to my own conclusions based on what I've read/seen repeatedly. No matter how many times you try and tell me something, and you can do it til you're blue in the face, I'm not going to change my opinion or beliefs, because that is what I think. It doesn't make me wrong or you wrong. I'm not sure why you're so insistent on this, but you need to calm down about it.

I love both Kikyo and Kagome, but Kikyo is my personal favorite and Sesshoumaru is my favorite male character. Though I prefer Kagome with Inuyasha haha. xD I just love Kikyo.

Me neither, that's why I thought I'd take the opportunity to ^_^ In the end, Kikyou believed in Kagome and her power more than anything, that's why she left the bow acquired at Mt. Azusa to Kagome. She also told Kagome that it was her job to protect Kohaku's light. Many many times Kagome protected and saved Kikyou, even though they were rivals for Inuyasha's love, they believed in each other, even though Kikyou never really revealed it until she was dying.
