Alright so don't kill me. I drew Kikyo. I actually really love this character. She's one of my favourites in Inuyasha. I don't like her WITH Inuyasha and tbh can't stand when he turns into some kind of blibbering idiot when she shows up, but I do really like her and grew quite attached to her character while watching the anime and reading the manga. I just know I'm going to cry when a specific chapter is animated. ;_; Anyway, here's Kikyo-sama and her shinidamachuu (aka soul collectors)! I got inspired to draw her because of the Inuyasha anime continuation! Woot! So keep your eyes peeled for new Inuyasha fan art from me.

I am in no way trying to be insulting, but, even though I know this sounds rude, I want to try and give a little constructive ctriticism here even though I in no way think I'm a great artist. Its just that your soul collectors are AMAZING, I was a little disappointed because, while most the picture is flawless, the spacing of the face seems completely off to me. Maybe if the eyes where just a little lower and the nose was slightly to the right, I don't know...anyways, I'm sorry if I come off as a jerk.

o.O That's a first and also the first time anybody's ever told my faces were off. o_o If I lowered her eyes then she'd have a really high forehead. If the nose were moved more toward the right then it'd throw off the angle of her face. I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with her face except that maybe her right eye is over a little far, but to each their own I guess. So yeah...thanks?

That's so beautiful! The night back round with Kikyou's shinidamachuu really suits! I agree with what you said about her too - I wouldn't ever want her to be with InuYasha (InuKag!) but she's such an interesting character and as the series went on it got hard not to get attached.

t started watching that show several years ago. it was great! but i got distracted by a very easy access to booze and countless concerts with my long hair/beard,
i want to watch the series, but i just have no time

i would need a way to transport them from the school computer to mine-i dont have the internet :/ and i usually go to sleep at 10pm so i can get up at 5am to catch the bus and go to work. all my spare time is spent writing and playing guitar. i haven't even had time to draw over the past few weeks
btw, i like how you strayed from your normal art style and did it more anime like. the background and the water look great too

This is actually done in the Inuyasha art style. I didn't stray. Normally when I draw something like Inuyasha or Fullmetal, I always draw in an art style similar to theirs.

Ohhh If I cryed at the manga I'm gonna whale at the Anime. I mean I was crying for ages when Hotohori died. and I did hate Kikyo only because of what Inuyasha's like around her. But when she helps them all and keeps kohaku safe with her I really do like her. Loven the art as always Can't wait to see more of your inuyasha work ^w^

Yeah xD I'm gonna be bawling when that chapter is animated. I really am. I cried in the manga too. It was just so sad. I don't hate Kikyou because it's not her fault. It's Inuyasha's fault. You should be mad at him. I know I get irritated with him because he turns into blibbering idiot and poor Kagome. ;_; But yeah, anyway. Thank you! ^^

hehe yeh I do agree he gets more softer would you say? And yeh she's very patient with him and Kikyo. But then again when you love someone you would wait for them to be ready. And I think thats what Kagome's doing.

Yeah or if she goes into damsel in distress mode and somebody tries to touch her, he totally freaks out and loses his mind because he's blinded. Especially if Kagome is there, that hurts her even more. But yeah, taht's what Kagome did. She waited for him.

Oh I know he acts like she can't look after her self when somethings gone wrong. I think we both know Kikyo is strong enough to look after herself. And yeh when Kagome has to witness the bubbling idiot, I feel kinda sorry. ^w^ but it's good how she still waits.

I wish people would understand a little bit more about Kikyo 'cuz she really is an amazing character and just what she's been through more than anyone.I've grown to really respect and like her. But this is very beautiful, especially the background

I really wish they would too. The poor thing really is tragic. She's gone through so much. She was forced back into the world of the living. She never once said, bring me back to life. She's a wonderful woman and after what I've seen in the manga of her, I've come to greatly love and respect her too. She's a wonderful character. Anyway, sorry about that.

Well, I don't get MAD at him, I just seriously annoyed with him and want to slap him or sit him like Kagome does. It's like he just becomes totally oblivious to Kagome's feelings whenever Kikyou is around. Thing is, Kikyou doesn't try to be all lovey dovey with him and stuff.

Obviously he suddenly loses his mind whenever he is near her. Though I suppose having the woman you loved try to kill you, then seeing her die and come back to life several times could mess with your mind a bit.
