Ha! Fantastic as usual!
Both of them are so expressive! You really are a master of showing so much without words. Arcis's distaste for dangling about, and Tarynn's familiar looks of pain. And Tarynn's look in the last panel!
Tarynn really needs to work on her poker face though. Arcis is definitely catching on that she's got an alternate motive, or is at least up to something. I'm very curious about how this will play out from here!

And she doesn't even ask how Tarynn is after that. That girl has the patience and self-restraint of a saint. Well, rather, she has the desperate need to maintain a facade and be accepted, but it amounts to the same thing.

She is trying to subtly gleam information about where Arcis's tribe is based so she can drop the facade and return her there in hopes of a reward. But her cover is nearly blown!

Man I just love how you do your comics, the detailed but not overpowering backgrounds, the angles, and of course THOSE FACES OMFG

Artistically very well done as usual. I really like the way you can achieve such depth with such a limited color palette. Nothings seems at all cartoony, but rather very 3-dimentional. Facial expressions and poses (especially the last frame) are also top-notch, and the story really keeps me hanging. And of course: "What made the branch break? A squirrel?" hahaha.
I will, however, admit to a noobish lack of knowledge - I went back through all of this series, and the location of the tribe being near a big (unnamed) waterfall was all I found. Annnd I'm clueless. Chordoni Waterfalls? Or is there another big one? Does she have a bad history with Vivian? Or are we not meant to know this yet? If it's a surprise, that's fine. I just wanted to make sure it's not a bit of history that I slept through in my "Felarya 101" class.

...God damnit man. How many times are you trying to kill me with these faces!?!? That last panel.... just god damn man XD. Still, while Tarynn is not exactly subtle about her questioning (and persistent heh) to arouse suspicion...the fact Arcis keeps avoiding it sure isn't helping alleviate suspicions towards that either.
