Interesting page to see more of Arcis' thoughts, and just how differing the two of them are.  Tarynn may not have learned what she was after from Arcis, but just the thoughts that this little elf has left for just this I can only guess at how she might view it too.  Just very very different and polar opposite circumstances between each of them leaving their tribes and what they want.  Man it'd drive me mad in her spot really though XD- barely getting by and all that horrible luck and Arcis just wanting more and largely superficial things. Gah XD.

She wants more! (And she wants in now)  Somehow I couldn't help but have a certain song from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory pop into my head for a moment there. 

That said, this is a fantastic page.  I really like the beautiful waterfall panel, and the contrast between Arcis and Tarynn has never been so stark.  So expressive, as usual, and panels 6 & 7 where we closeup on their faces was really evocative.  Also, the fact she thinks of herself as a 'big fish' is pretty hilarious, given her comparative stature. 

Marvelous work as usual, and as always, I've extremely curious to see where this continues to progress.

Oh great page You manage to give a nice glimpse into Arcis' mindset.

It kind of make me think a visit into someone's digestive track - not necessarily for good - would do her some good to help her appreciate what she has and bring her a bit down her high horse >>
 
What is especially impressive is you tell quite a lot in very few panels here. in particular the way she looks at that luminous opening in the canopy with that bored expression of hers is very evocative ^^ great job

I love how the story is progressing – you've done an amazing job of making both the story as well as Arcis and Tarynn come to life - and this little conversation really does a lot of both. Do I detect the possibility that Arcis encounters a fairy and is made giant sized? Uuugh, what a terror she would be in her quest for "more."

At any rate, aside from the story, I really like the landscapes on this one, especially the waterfall panel (great texture on the water's surface, and the subtle color shift on the left side) As well as the trees/vegetation in panels 8 and 9 – it's amazing what you've done with just a few colors – really creates the mood of being in a dense forest, which I don't recall seeing quite like this in any of your past comics.

And finally, I love the contrast between the appearance of Tarynn in panel 9, who looks rather emaciated, and Arcis in panel 11, who's the glowing picture of health, and yet still dissatisfied with her life.
