And everyone wonders why Ciel believes that bird that plagues her is evil- the birds are evil!....cept this one ate Arcis, so maybe not? Matter of view I suppose XD? Still, a nice page heh- I had a feeling it'd be one of these birds potentially after her warning in the previous, and it really says something for Tarynn trying hard as she is to break free from that paralysis this fast to save her (I like how you can see she's been moving some between panels, only a bit, but some as she gets more and more free from it). Really makes for some stakes here with wondering if she can break free in time or not...and of course, her luck is always a factor lol.

AND YOU EVEN FORESHADOWED SOME OF THOSE BIRDS ON PAGE 9!!!
Ahem. This is a really great page, even if you've (allegedly) never drawn vore before. I do recall Tarynn getting some kinda shrimp-girl or something stuck in her nose, which probably technically kinda counts. Totally.
But yeah, love how dynamic all the panels look, and as always, all the expressions are just great.
This may be the ignoble end of 'Arcis the Snarkis', but I'm not quite willing to count her out yet. I think it all depends on how Tarynn's curse interprets 'bad' luck: Is it more traumatic for Tarynn if Arcis is devoured . . . or if the bird chokes to death, so Arcis survives & remains a part of her life. I guess we'll find out!
Stellar work as usual, sir!

Well spotted! It's either a master storyteller at work with a knack for foreshadowing or a creatively bankrupt artist reusing designs And yes, I suppose I created a new niche of nose vore with that piece! But this is the first proper bit. And thank you! I suppose either way the one thing you can be sure of is it won't end well for Tarynn

I don't know why that comment reminded me of that scene from The Road to El Dorado when they're in the boat, but it really did

Ha, I guessed right! Thanks to the strong hint / clue you gave us on the previous page.
The vore is very nicely done, actually. So: Yes you are, even if you're reluctant to admit it!
Is it wrong of me to hope Arcis stays in there? In any case: Action Tarynn! In frozen motion! Poor girl, that strain on her face... I suppose waspish company was better for her than no company at all.

Hogwash it was good! XD and oh no! Now is Tarynn's negative hunting skill going to affect the bird and lead to a last minute rescue?!

Wait. Vore? From You? Impossible. >x>
I don't believe it. It's a trick!
Looks good. But won't the bird get a stomachache?

You're right, it's all been a ruse!
Also, I am now going to give up comic making. I could never top that one liner. I hope you're proud of yourself.

I suppose it was inevitable. And with the dragonapples as a clue, a Drakewillow Nexolt isn't too much a surprise. But nice job on the bird! I don't recall seeing a drawing of one, but it's really how I would have envisioned it. And the color choice is also well done. Like a really bright macaw, except with a different definition of "bird food."
So how does this continue?
Tarynn catches the bird.
Tarynn(speaking to bird) "Now then, Arcis, I will let you out of there when you repeat the following: 'I will show some respect and not wander off on my own' Can you repeat that for me?"
Arcis "Get me the §%/& outta here."
Tarynn "Oh, I don't think I heard that, speak louder. I can't quite hear you over the sound of the bird's digestive rumblings."

Haha you're right, I'm hardly the most subtle storyteller ever And thank you! Also: the concept of Tarynn ever being in a powerful enough position that she can be smug about something like that just doesn't bear thinking about! The last thing that ego needs is a power trip
