Love the power showing in the back musculature of these amazing birds. You did an excellent job with the reflection work as well. As always the best of kind award must go to you for another set of birds in action.

Superb shot again. Was the swan coming in for a landing? They certainly do a lot of splashing.

Cheers no actually it was making a defensive run at another bird and never actually got airborne.

i just spent the last 2 weeks with teh spring migration of the tundra swans and very rarely did i get them comming towards me ...

WoW i bet that was a very good 2 weeks These birds are very domesticated i suppose. they have people
interation 25/7 really. theres a nest within 5 feet of the main footpath hundreds of people a day walk past it.
