its ok, you dont have to if its a big trip, I wouldnt want to be responsible for you spending alot of money on a plane ticket and a hotel, to go on a huge trip just cuz I said I liked american roadsigns better

you toko the intention of those colours in the design of that road sign and gave them power and presence by themselves...its a lovely piece as a whole and the message can be reflected on...

Thank you! I felt that I wanted to make a point without actually showing the concrete reality of it. I feel that people take short-cuts by going straight to the point without leaving the viewer room to think and imagine. Seems that my objective was completed, at least in your case.

This picture conveys more than my stupid poems could in years. Such at great contrast between the sign (light) and the ground (dark) and the way the dark (evil and sinister) tire marks are overlapping the poor light (innocent) child. Sheer Beauty. Fantatic work.
Off topic, did you find the sign like that, or did you make it like that. Just a little insight please.

I found the sign at a landfill where I was shooting/exploring. Then I came up with the concept and decided to drive over the sign with my car to give it some more edge. It's a Finnish road sign.
