really nice work overall, a really good collaborative effort. it's clearly better than wfc1, which shows you guys are gaining experience. 'cooking in my pot' crashes my winamp tho. my faves are:

Great compilation, everyone! It was such a joy for me to be a part of this pack.

I dont want to point out any "good" or "bad" presets, because I bet you all know what's good and what's bad. I instead want to thank the people who took time to remix my presets (and made them look better). And I really hate that there is no fps limiter in avs (a working one, not that CRAPPY slider).

Once again, good job!

over all a sweet pack, some presets better than others (mine was a supreme dissapointment but i had no creativity at the time so ) but i think this is real sweet!

Intro: One of the best intros I've seen. Not good for an real preset though...

- Specball 2: Yummy If I could, I would eat it... even though it looks a little poisonous.
- Subgenius: Hmm, for some reason, this looks different than the one I received to remix Still very nice though.
- Ambiente: I like the background, and I like the scope... but not together. They just don't seem to mix very well to me, but that's just matter of taste.
- Incessant: WotL must have only received the first versions of my presets. Oh well, I can save them for my pack. Because of that, I like the colors, but the rest can use some work(and they did ).
- Unencumbered: I haven't looked at this preset since I submitted it, but I think it looked better the first time around. It could be okay with some optimizations that I've recently learned, but right now it's crap.
- Concept II: Easily one of my favorites. Love it!
- Indigenous: This is kind of iffy. I like it, but I don't at the same time. Gah, there's more good than bad, so thumbs up.
- Starfighter Redux: As with the last one, yay and nay. I like the preset, it looks good as fuck, but it's slower than all hell. AVS is still music visualization (though with the recent open-sourcing of it, who knows what will happen ), and just because it can be done, doesn't always mean it should. Nevertheless, the pack stands for what each artist is, so I give it a favorite for that.
- Pringles: I got nothing for this one...
- Could be Toxic: I like the effects and the DM, but the scope is out of this world... it's too big, and just doesn't really work with the rest of the preset.
- I Bet So: Tuggummi summed it up best for this one...
- Machinae Supremacy: I wanted so much to give a favorite for this one... the only two things I didn't like were the bump (maybe if it just stayed in the middle) and the lack of aspect correction (looks really bad in widescreen). Ah, I'll fix that myself and give it a favorite anyway It deserves it.
- PopArt: Too fast, and kind of ugly looking.
- Restless Ribbon: Nice one, but I still have a few things: lose the spectrum, and let the particles follow a less restricive path. Btw, reminds me a bit of Nemo's 'Sputnik Homeland'.
- Cooking in my pot: N/A. My winamp is being a little bitch lately, and for whatever reason, crashes whenever I try to open this preset. I'll leave a review when and if I ever get it to work.
- Who says ghosts don't bleed: Favorite. Nice colors, flow... good work! Favorite.
- Not A Preset For DOS: Great at first, but after a while the DM gets really shitty.
- Ribbons: Great! I like everything about this one, so you get a favorite as well.

- Refreshment: Sweet, make it real. Nice remix!
- Bayrisch Blau: Eh... I think I like the original over this one. Sorry, ^..^.
- Shadowplay: I really like this one, love the changing shadows. Favorite.
- Decision: You kicked my ass with this one. I love the DM, but it's not much visually. This goes hand in hand with Jheriko's preset.
- Escaped Vortex: I still like it. It's probably not better than the original, but this is how I would have made it if it were mine.
- Might be Noxious: Eek! I told WotL that it probably wouldn't be very good, but I didn't realize it sucked this back. Sorry, Mr Nudge.
- Vibrance of Summer: The one and only inclusion of mysterious_w. Nice job on the remix... who doesn't like trans/scatter?
- Jet Wash: Instant favorite. You're great at what you do... however, you know my standings on these type of presets.
- Toxicity: Not really my style.
- I Can't Cook: Well I can't see the original to rank it against, however this looks pretty nice anyway.
- Toy Pain: Nice foreground, ugly background.
- Vibe Mix: A great take on the original.
- S-quad Mix: Yeah, baby! That's what I like! If you don't, tough luck for you. Favorite for me.
- TjT Mix: Snazzy Looks great and fast, too!
- Concept III: Hmm, just doesn't tickle my fancy.
- Ghosts Remix: Wonderful idea! I have a good idea to remix this one as well.
- Pringles Remix: What's the difference, a movement and a colorfade?


Overall I give it a favorite. I might like all of these presets a lot more if I weren't in such a shitty mood tonight. So I apologize if I were too critical.

~WotL and you thought this pack would be small... it's bigger than the last one!

Like hboy said, the gap between the absolutly amazing presets and the not so good ones is huge which is kind of dragging to the whole pack, but i guess it reflects the community at the forums so i'll let it slide...

And on to the pack.

Intro - Yeah, nice job getting all our names there other than the pure tech side of it i don't see much appeal in it though. But it's only a bloody intro, who cares
Specball 2 - I like it, but it seems unnecessary slow Maybe im just too picky about fps nowadays. Good preset.
Subgenius - I smiled when i saw this Brings back the good old times.
Ambiente - Very nice, the whole scope + background works so well. One of my favourites in the pack.
incessant - 3D planes just seem so old to me, but reading the comment gives a better understanding towards this preset.
unencumbered - A effect monster Quite slow which is a nag to me. Not my type of preset unfortunately.
Concept - Quite a pleasant surprise, the foreground is pretty cool and the background works well for it. Good work Ishan!
Indigenous - Generic flow with some layer tricks, nothing really to tick my clock
Starfighter Redux - Pure Awesome-essence squeezed in a preset It's slow of course and i don't really quite understand why the tunnel, but damn it's still great! Excellent job Jheriko!
Pringles - I did those kind of scopes (without 3D) about... 5 years ago, yup.
Could be Toxic - I always enjoy a good flow preset, but this isn't one.
I Bet So - Quite weird Not bad, not great, just weird...
Machinae Supremacy - I was going to remix this one too, but i thought it was cool as it was Great work.
PopArt - Not really into these type of presets (bold & stylish) even though i remixed this one Well it's okay otherwise, but those spectrums don't quite fit and the colors are just... horrible.
Restless Ribbon - Nice preset, but again the spectrum seems extra-
Cooking in my pot - There is music response, but it's just not too obvious. I guess people don't like presets that require too much attention

Not A preset For DOS - Good preset, great filter trick
Ribbons - Something that looks like it was taken from nemo's scenery pack, great

And remixes i thought were coolio.

Decision - It's like Zero-G-maze swallowed a Chmutov Love it, but the camera should look around more, looks much cooler that way.
Jet Wash - Sorry J, but PAK totally pulled your pants down, *censored* you and came back later for seconds!
I Can't Cook - Simple and nice. I don't blaim you, because the original wasn't a very good one to remix at.
Toy Pain - Lose the background, then it's good.
Concept III - Energetic! I like it
Who says ghosts don't eat - Finaly that pill popping pac-man gets it!

One weird thing though, kookee remixed himself? wtf.?


Well some high and low moments in this pack, but overall good stuff.

great work, overall an awesome pack. much much better than WFC1 imo.

jet wash definately the best. PAK took my cobbled preset and did some awesome polish.

Intro - Yea yea, model rendering, big deal
SpecBall 2 - mmm, I like it, good execution although the movement is a tad jittery
Subgenius - A bit washed out and the colours seem a bit random, but OK
Ambiente - The background is too bland and the scope doesnt quite occupy enough space, but ok
incessant - Nicely done, pretty stylish, I would prefer it if the scope was always visible
Unencumbered - colour scheme is nice but its all a bit sort of blurry... yea
Concept 2 - Its all a bit of a mish mash, sorry, dont like it
Indigenous - Fairly generic flow, ok, but needs more response
Starfighter Redux - mmm, sweet, music response is pretty poor (but who am I to point the finger, right?) main complaint is speed, and did you really need to do a whittaker tunnel? I think a standard raytrace would have been faster and (more importantly) more robust from different angles.
Pringles - er... looks like a bit of a 'I wonder what happens when I type this..' preset, too experimental
Could be toxic - generic flow, not that keen really
I bet so - fun, but a bit random
Machinae Supremacy - not much music response, but heck, I like it
Popart - wow, ugly. A train wreck of different shapes
Restless ribbon - Good idea, but the colours are nasty. It would be nice if the path of the particles was a bit less repetative
Cooking in my pot - music response? Its just a sort of mass of barely moving particles, I dont really see the appeal
Who says ghosts don't bleed - mmmm, nice swirly flow, good colours, v nice
Not a preset for DOS - Simple, but effective
Ribbons - meh, the effect has been done before more than once, and better

Notable remixes:

Inecessant(decision mix) - Cant beat a funky tech demo
Toy Pain - The background is nasty but the main effect is very cool;
Restless Ribbon (s-quad mix) - Just very cool
Not a preset for DOS (TjT mix) - Definately one of the pack favorites, extrememly well executed

many of the presets is shit hot, and some need lots of work. way better than the first one (heh maybe cause i didn't take part muhaha), but there is a big gap between the drool ones no one will ever make (jheriko and pak-9 made them), and the worse presets. still a good pack
