Sorry for all the grammatical errors, I'm not really very good in the English grammar!!!Thank you a lot to for helping me to fix the grammar!!!
When I start this, I was so afraid of what could happen if I ost it, but I'm happy of doing right now!
Before someone say something like: WHO ARE YOU TO TELL HOW MAKE OCs?!?!?! Well, I not order you to read or follow what it says, I did this Tutorial for everybody that would like read it or for those new artists that doesn't know how start their stories and everything! Because today we seen so many gallery of people full of talent but that only does always bishonens or pretty girls (or boys that look like pretty girls), that doesn't risk to try new styles or ideas for fear of what other people could say!
So, if I insulted someone with this tutorial, I apologize and not take it personal because this is my opinion only!

Thank God there is finally something out there that shows those stupid marry sues and weeabos the errors of their ways. This is perfect for creating characters you want to be unique or if you just want to have a guide to change how your characters are.

Yep! I have the started idea of one of my stories in my gallery right now the most recent one if your interested. I'm still working out the ideas and all, but I think it'll come together nicely when I'm done.

wow! that's the moust true tutorial I've ever seen! I was hoping someone to say those things! I can't stand those stereotypical storys anymore and people just don't ever change!! I mean, My God! can't they see that that's not imagination, is just someone trying to do some story based in others stereotypical storyes?!! We don't even have to read/wach it to know how the main char personality's is, or what is going to happen, or how it's going to end... everything is obvious...
...I'm happy that finaly someone had the iniciative to say that! Great Job!

Characters should be interesting. Like stories and art and other things that need to be interesting.
You need good taste to know what is interesting. Getting good taste and keeping it is step number one, and takes a mature mind that's open and smart. Once you have it, you will know WHY stereotypes are dumb, instead of just WHICH stereotypes to avoid. You will also be able to use them to your advantage.
Also, characters/stories you made when you were 13-17 are almost always garbage and your first test as a mature artist is to be able to throw them away and start anew.

about the last thing, not really true, almost haven't made a real new character since some years ago and all my main stories use characters I did back then from 8 to 15, I just did worked them better and now are really amazing characters

Cristal isn't the original spelling, it's Crystal Or with a K instead of C. I've never known anyone with it spelled 'Cristal'.

I live in mexico and Cristal is a REALLY common name, that is how we writte it here, so, technically is a translation. I didn't know that much of english back then

Anyway I only have to say also one thing, your tutorial is really good but I know what happens with people and what can they do, for sure most of them will pass about reading your comment below the tuto and won't read something I consider important: a tutorial is not a recipe to follow at 100% yes or yes, it's only a base to help people to make things and/or understand some basic things

sip, creo que la parte de la mentalidad de ellos, fue la que salio mejor ya que tengo mucha experiencia en ello, tego algunos personajes que hize desde bastante pequeño, y aun los trabajo en unas historias!

denada hombre, realmente me interesan tutoriales como estos, no por necesidad sino para comprobar si pueda fallarme algo en mis personajes(como ya dije, 36 XD), más ahora que retomé lo de empezar a hacer el cómic
Ya que lo mencionas, me gustaria conocer esos personajes o incluso la historia, me interesa mucho conocer historias ajenas ademas de que me guste, de hecho apoyo lo de compartir y relatar historias ya que dan puntos de vista distintos o incluso enseñar cosas nuevas
