As Pebble and Shroomy stood to the side watching the standoff between Sam, Baby the teddiursa, Mr Brooks and Bruce, a loud, dry *THUMP* startled them, making them look over to where the sound came from.
It was none other than Mr. Vega, looking incredibly tired and startled, trying so hard to make his panting as silent as possible to not lose that stiff upper lip of his. He dropped a couple of sacks on the floor while using his psychic abilities to carry a couple of sacks that were dropped on the way.
Pebble begins to worry about Mr. Vega's current health conditions.
“Are, uh, are you ok Mr Vega?” Pebble asked, taking a few steps towards the Ralts.
"It's... *pant* *pant* I... *pant* ... I'm perfectly fine, Mr. Pebble... *pant*"
"Oh dear" said Mr. Brooks "Something tells me that the odds were not in our favor this time, Mr. Vega"
"*pant* *pant* Ix-nay on the lan-pay, Mr. Brooks... *pant* we must now focus on this... *pant* meeting of sorts..." before he could've finished, Mr. Vega collapsed right on the floor.
Concerned the Ralts might need medical attention, Pebble made to go check on his condition.
"Don't" interrupted Mr. Brooks "My cohort knows how to calm down and regain consciousness in these kinds of situations. We have a bigger problem right now. Specifically, that Teddiursa."

Pebble and Mr Brooks returned their attention to Baby and Sam, who were by now engaged in a rather heated argument.
