Thanks! It was an interesting temple. This was about the only shot on digital that came out that day. I still have film to develop that will probably have to wait until we get back to the states and scan in order to see if anything else came out.

Thanks! You gotta keep up the Japan front though. We can live vicariously through you and about 10 other deviants that I tried to mention, but decided that I didn't want to forget anyone.

Wonderful capture! Great composition. And I love the details, like the wooden sandals and the umbrella.
Great looking clothes he's wearing.

Thank you, dear! They do wear some interesting clothing. Sometimes very simplistic with muted colors and sometimes very ornate with bright colors. It's a lot of fun to watch.

Thanks for sharing!!! For me it's a lot of fun to watch too! Some time ago your husband told me that you will have to leave Japan this summer. Do you still have to go?

Yes. He doesn't have a job here anymore. We will be moving back to the states very soon. We will still continue to take picture. However, the scenery will change dramatically. I should be interesting though since we will be moving to an area where there is a lot of history. So, we shall share that. I hope that you will continue to watch and enjoy.

Did your luggage arrive in Kentucky yet? Do you have a comfortable home?
Do you miss Japan?

the luggage that we took on the plane with us all made it here. The rest of our stuff will not be here for another month. That means relying on the library to check mail and dA. So, its kinda hard to respond quickly.

We just found a home today. It is kind of out in the country so that should be fun.

We miss Japan lots. Still throwing out the usually phrases, Nani <\i> which means "what " or "onegaishimasu" which means pretty please. Its very proper, but we don't use it that way.

Yep! We miss everyone. We have one friend here that we knew from there, but won't get to see him much. So, its mostly been flying around trying to take care of all the basics and get used to the time change. I think I am almost there.

Well, gotta run. later!

So life is a bit complicated for you now. We had the same when we came from Indonesia and from Thailand. Coming from Indonesia, they sent us the wrong stuff. They kept our good things there and sent us the things we didn't need in Holland. It was 1958.
Sounds great to have a house out in the country!!!
