I really LOVE the detail here BUT to make this painting pop more, I would have choose a more dramatic & bolder color for the background, the choice of blue is to me somewhat dull.

hahaha yeah that's actually why I chose blue because I wanted to make it look dull and more lonely. So that the details of the orchid screams "Please don't leave me alone". It's bittersweet kinda.

Thank you! This was from a photo I took with my phone at my local grocery store lol. Definitely the orchid was brighter but I changed the colors to seem longing and sad.
