Perhaps we'll learn more about her past life in season 4. I'm also aware of the 'bring her back' camp, which I'm on the fence about. If she is brought back, I can only hope it's for the sake of story progression and nothing more. Anyway, I'll probably be working on other things for now, but I do plan on making more RWBY fan art in the future.

I believe Pyrrha at the very least will live on through Jaune. I'd like to think she has passed her torch of "destiny" on to Jaune so that he may find his own destiny to fulfill. I would very much like to see him avenge Pyrrha, but I would not be surprised if he ends up not dealing the final/fatal blow. The next volume should prove to be interesting.

If she can continue to play a role in the story and grow as a character, then yes she should be brought back. She's definitely dead, but we don't know what Remnant's afterlife is like. Plus, there's the power of magic. Her talk about "destiny" makes it sound like we haven't seen the last of her. I know I'm just reaching for straws. Even if she stays dead, I'm sure we're going to see more of her in unseen flashbacks, and dream sequence for Jaune. We should learn more about her from her mother.
It's great to see that people are drawing art of Pyrrha now that she's gone. This one really turned out well. Good job with the coloring, lightning and shading, especially with her armor. You sure made her "ample".

She undoubtedly has a lot more room for character growth, but that could be said for characters from any work of fiction where people felt they were axed too soon. I've learned to accept it most of the time as a result. Ultimately though, if she is brought back, then I would like for her to still have a role to play in the story as you mentioned. However, to take it a step further, I don't want the writers to bring her back primarily because fans demanded it. I'd prefer it if they already had planned to bring her back from the start because it's essential for the plot, and perhaps it will tie into her whole "destiny" complex. If this is the case, then it means that the VA is either lying or Pyrrha will be voiceless. Anyway, part of it is to avoid having them simply shoehorn her in just so we can see more of her. The other part is that I dislike it when writers have to cave into pressure from fans. If she does remain dead though, then I certainly wouldn't mind the flashbacks and dream sequence like you said.

About Jen Brown's (her voice actress) tweet saying good bye to Pyrrha, it's possible that she's keeping up a charade. Maybe she does not know that that Pyrrha will be brought back. Even if she did, she obviously can't even hint about it. Pyrrha coming back would of course be a secret RT really want to keep hidden. Pyrrha is my favorite character, and I would love to see more of it, but not just to have her back.
I look forward to see how Jaune will handle her death in volume 4. He obviously has not gotten over it. I want to see Ren, Nora and Ruby mourn her too. I cried when Pyrrha died. Her death was so brutal, shot through the hearth and gasping for air. At least she did not die in vain. She awakened Ruby's powers, and she motivated her friends to become stronger and unite so that they can track down and kill Cinder. By killing Pyrrha, Cinder's destiny is to be killed by her friends.

Hm, you're right. It's possible that Jen isn't kept in the loop of things so she may be oblivious to any plans the writers might have of bringing her back. I had always made the assumption though that VA's would be kept informed of these things so that they don't write a 'send-off' to their presumably dead character in order to avoid misleading the viewers. After all, if that were to happen, then when can the public ever reasonably expect a VA's character farewell to be genuine? Only when the writers themselves come out and confirm it? Then again, we are dealing with RT and I've heard they like to do troll-ish stuff, so I don't know lol.
I too look forward to seeing how Jaune will handle the situation. Pyrrha's death scene was very difficult for me to watch as well. Just her expression, her gasping for air like you said, seriously made my heart sink, although I was able to hold back my manly tears. I don't blame anyone though for shedding tears at that scene. I'm definitely rooting for team RNJR (unofficially) to track down Cinder and give her hell for that.
