"Oh mercy me, would you look at the time?" said Mr. Vega. Mr. Brooks nodded slowly "I see. I do believe it's time for us to leave."
"Time to bid thee adieu, ladies and gentlemen."
"Time for us to say goodbye." and with that, the two decided to hightail it out of there quickly!

"Hey, wait a minute!" said Bruce while trying to follow them. "You can't leave before you teach us your awesome powers!" Sam nodded fervently in agreement.
Pebble hesitated, and said quietly, "Shouldn't we check if someone got hurt first?"
Sam blinked for a moment, then he jumped up. "You're right?! Oh man! Someone must've gotten hurt!" And just as before he was off.
Bruce looked back and forth, not sure if he should follow Sam or the two gentlemen. "But, those two are getting away!"
Shroomie sighed. "It's ok, just let them go. Besides, we need to see if someone's in trouble, the faster the better."
Pebble nodded, and the four young pokemon headed to the direction of the scream.

A few meters away from the area, Mr. Brooks and Mr. Vega are still running away, trying to reach their old stand.
"Well, this was a disappointment, Mr. Brooks"
"What makes you think so, Mr. Vega? Our clients seemed satisfied with our methods... at first."
"Precisely. At first. Not to mention the entire kerfuffle with the other teams and the fact that a certain Mudkip's stubbornness got the better of me, Mr. Brooks."
"Hm, yes, but remember to keep calm and carry on, Mr. Vega. We managed to complete the objective stated by our contractor, and we even have witnesses of our act."
"Hm, true... but how can we be so sure that they will still decide to be credible witnesses if we ever need to have an alibi, Mr. Brooks?"
The two stopped on their tracks and pondered for a bit, until coming to their logical conclusion.
"We wait in the distance..."
"...hidden from sight..."
"...and make sure that they..."
"...tell our contractor most of what happened. Excellent plan, Mr. Brooks."
"Couldn't have thought of it without you, Mr. Vega."
And so, the two reached their stand, painted the sign yet again, this time reading "NOT A HIDING SPOT. (We swear!)", hid under it and walked back to their previous location, hidden under that stand so that they could hear how these shenanigans ended.
"They won't suspect a thing, Mr. Brooks." whispered Mr. Vega.
"Indeed Mr. Vega. Indeed." replied quietly Mr. Brooks.
