Sam and Pebble turn around to face the two slick mons head-on, feeling somewhat uncomfortable due to their sudden, shocking appearance. An awkward silence fills the area. It was so silent, you could clearly hear the sound of the grass swaying with the wind.

Sam furrowed his brow. “Did he just call us…gentlemen?”
“Who are you two?” Pebble blurted over his friend’s impolite tone of voice, it had never been in Pebble’s nature to grumble in front of adults.

"Mr. Vega, I believe that you've skipped on our introduction." said the Pawniard, as he stroked his knife-hand across his chin.
"Oh, my mistake. Where are my manners?" said the Ralts. He cleared his throat with a loud *A-HEM!* and continued talking. "Allow me to introduce ourselves. I am Vadin Vega, expert in the deceiving arts, counterfeiting and other related affairs of 'shifty behavior', as you might say."
Sam and Pebble look at the other two with puzzled looks, tilting their heads. As Sam was about to say something, he is immediately interrupted by Mr. Vega. "This is my life-long companion and business partner, Benedict Brooks, a professional 'silencer', if you catch my drift. We are here to ask you a few questions regarding the recent mission ordered by our contractors."
Mr. Brooks steps forward as Mr. Vega finishes. "Mr. Vega, I suggest that you'd let me continue with this verbal agreement between us two parties?"

"You certainly may, Mr. Brooks." replied Mr. Vega. "Proceed with the explanation."
"Very well, Mr. Vega." Mr. Brooks said, as he circled around Sam and Pebble while going off in his speech. "Gentlemen, as you know, our contractors want us to do a reforestation effort on the least green areas in this village. Due to the massive amount of seeds that need to be planted here and there, my colleague and I decided that the best course of action is to ask other teams for collaboration, seeing that everyone in the village is more than willing to help reforest our most sincerily tragic areas."
Mr. Vega then steps forward as well "So, we saw you two fine gentlemen talking about the reforesting mission from our stand back there" he points to his back, showing a stand with a cloth sign with "Auditions open for the planting event." painted on it. "and we were thinking about how you two-"
Before Mr. Vega could finish, Sam jumps in the air, looking desperate and impatient, shouting "CUT TO THE CHASE ALREADY! You're making me fall asleep with all your blabbering!". Mr. Vega looks at Mr. Brooks, as he silently tells him "...oh my, looks like someone doesn't know about treating others with respect...
...ANYWAY, to not make this tale even longer, we propose that we work together as one big team in an effort to reduce the work load and increase the velocity at which we do this endeavor."
